Avenbury Care Farm is an amazing facility to bring people with learning difficulties and other needs to. They get to experience being on a farm, caring for animals as well as make crafts, garden, cooking and woodwork. Stephen loves to come and feed the animals and bake and he even gets to take what he’s made home to share with the other people he lives with.

As an activities co-ordinator I’m always looking for new places and things to do with the people I support, Avenbury Care Farm is perfect with a variety of things to do and try inside and out, in a stunning location with great, well thought out facilities.

I visited today with work and this is the best place I have ever taken disabled adults. The experience they received was out of his world, the staff were friendly, helpful, kind, caring, patient, knowledgeable and nothing was too much for any of them. We did baking, mucking out, planting and everyone had a great time,thank you once again.
I would highly recommend visiting and experiencing it for yourselves.

I took my service user today from Shared Lives for a taster session and she absolutely loved it! Facilities are so accessible and clean and a lovely setting! Perfect for her to interact with the animals, become creative in various sessions and make new friends and the staff so lovely and welcoming.
